About the Symposium
The country’s largest gathering of liquid supplement leaders in manufacturing, nutrition, quality, sales and marketing gather at the American Feed Industry Association’s Liquid Feed Symposium. The annual symposium educates and promotes the agricultural liquid supplement industry through high-quality speaker presentations, research funding reports, achievement recognition and the Liquid Feed Symposium Tradeshow.

The annual Liquid Feed Symposium promises to be an outstanding event in 2012. The AFIA Liquid Feed Committee has developed a speaker line up intended to bring unparalleled take home information to the broad spectrum of liquid feed manufacturers and supporting industries represented at the symposium.

Rising to Mile High Challenges
Opening day speakers will cover regulatory issues that are currently or are expected to impact the industry. Dr. Art Douglas of Creighton University will give an overview of the next several months’ anticipated weather patterns by region and Policy Direction’s Executive Vice President, Steve Kopperud, will share his insights into the national political climate during this election year and how it may impact your business decisions. Following the evening reception, a trip to the ball park will round out a very eventful day for those wanting to take in the baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies.

Thursday offers a full day of technical presentations on viscosity, pumps, inventory management, nutrition, sustainability and quality control. Wrapping up the day, Jim Whitt of Purpose Unlimited will give the Keynote address.
