The 2010 Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference, an annual three-day event of the American Feed Industry Association, is under way in San Antonio, Texas, this week. Approximately 475 individuals who work in a range of roles within the livestock feed and pet food industry are gathered to learn about the latest issues, events and other matters concerning the total feed industry. NRC Swine Committee Requests Data from AFIA Members The National Research Council has formed a new Committee on Swine Nutrition to update its Nutrient Requirements of Swine publication. AFIA’s Feed Industry Institute Scheduled for June 14-17 in St. Louis, Mo.
Every two years, the American Feed Industry Association’s Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Committee hosts the Feed Industry Institute, a four-day event of educational programming about all aspects of the feed industry.
