Consider Attending AFIA’s Equipment Manufacturers Conference This Fall
The 2008 Equipment Manufacturers Conference (EMC) is an educational experience designed to address many issues pertinent to today’s equipment designers, builders and installers who serve the feed, pet food and grain industries.
From Nov. 6-8, this year’s conference will focus on “Embracing the Flat World,” while taking in the charm of Savannah, Ga. Please join your industry peers for the event’s wide range of speakers specializing in security and disaster recovery.

• Keith Behnke, Kansas State University, ingredient quality and its effect on the industry
• Joel Newman, American Feed Industry Association, the industry and the global economy
• Don Root, California Pellet Mill, current trends and a look into the future of information technology

• Rick Jones, Foreign Exchange for US Bank in Cincinnati, managing export risk

Along with the opportunity to network and hear from top executives, we hope you take in the beautiful charm and scenery of Savannah and the surrounding area. The annual four-man scramble golf tournament will be Thursday, Nov. 6. The tournament will be played on the beautiful 18-hole championship golf course at The Club of Savannah. This course is home to the PGA Tour’s Champions Tour, and it was named one of the top 60 golf resorts in the U.S. by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
