The American Feed Industry Association, the world's largest organization devoted exclusively to representing the business, legislative and regulatory interests of the animal feed industry and its suppliers, is celebrating 100 years of service to the livestock feed and pet food industry.  Founded as the American Feed Manufacturers Association in 1909, AFIA has blossomed from its humble roots to a foremost, prominent association representing the total feed industry.  It is a testament to the power, vision and commitment of our founders that AFIA has endured and prospered through ten decades.

Service to our members is the bedrock of our organization. It was true in 1909, and it is true today.  In this spirit, we are committed to creating a commemoration that justly reflects AFIA’s and the feed industry's history and heritage and leaves a lasting legacy for future generations.

Throughout this Centennial Celebration, AFIA members, partners, former staff, and friends are invited to honor, reminisce and celebrate our achievements and resolve to build on the legacy of our founders by strengthening our commitment to service.
