Registration is now open for the American Feed Industry Association's Feed Industry Institute, June 13-16, in Minneapolis, Minn. Hosted by AFIA's Purchasing & Ingredient Suppliers Committee, the every-other-year event is essential for employees new to the feed industry.

FII provides an educational forum to learn about the feed and ingredient industry first hand from highly qualified industry experts. The program provides attendees with the ideal opportunity to mingle with colleagues and lecturers in the feed, pet food and ingredient industries, as well as discover helpful FII literature to help enhance professional development all while supporting their company.

"FII is unique to the industry as it's a one-of-a-kind program for individuals new to the sector and seeking a comprehensive, big picture understanding of the role animal feed plays in agriculture," said Veronica Rovelli, AFIA director and meeting and events. "Coming from a non-agricultural background, this program has helped me, and many past attendees, better understand the industry we serve, and I encourage companies with new employees to consider this event."

The program is approved by the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists for 16 continuing education units.

Early-bird registration ends May 6; regular registration runs through June 1. Online registrants will receive a $50 discount. To register online, click here. To register via PDF, click here.
