CLASS INFORMATION 

The American Feed Industry Association is holding two FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food trainings this summer. The training material was developed by Food Safety Preventive Control Alliance (FSPCA) and is the “standardized curriculum” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recognizes as adequate for preventive control qualified individual (PCQI) training. Successfully completing this course is one way to meet the requirements for a PCQI. 

The course will cover:
•    Overview of the FSMA requirements for animal food
•    Current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements
•    Animal food safety hazards
•    Overview of the food safety plan
•    Hazard analysis and preventive controls determination
•    Preventive control management components
•    Process controls
•    Sanitation controls
•    Supply-chain applied controls
•    Recall plans


This course, developed by FSPCA, is the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA; successfully completing this course is one way to meet the requirements for a “preventive controls qualified individual.” 


REGISTRATION RATES

Early bird rate AFIA members: $650 for online reg.; $700 for paper reg., register by July 15, 2016
Early bird rate non-members: $850 for online reg.; $950 for paper reg., register by July 15, 2016
Regular rate AFIA members: $700 for online reg.; $750 for paper reg., register by August 5, 2016
Regular rate non-members: $950 for online reg.; $1050 for paper reg., register by August 5, 2016
