AFIA Appoints Constance Cullman as New CEO

The American Feed Industry Association’s Board of Directors has officially appointed Constance Cullman as president and chief executive officer of the association and the president of the industry’s public charity, the Institute for Feed Education and Research yesterday. Cullman has been on staff since July 29, working with the association’s past president Joel G. Newman in preparation for his retirement on Dec. 31.

The Institute for Feed Education and Research (IFEEDER) and the National FFA Organization (FFA) have established a partnership to cooperate on agricultural education programs in the area of animal food production. Signed this week, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) will forge new initiatives to promote awareness of the agricultural industry, as well as the animal food industry.

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has received funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) under its Emerging Markets Program to conduct a market assessment in Vietnam.
