What is New?
Calling all new members to the feed industry – time to get back in the classroom with an online course designed just for you! The Feed Industry Institute (FII) provides a great educational forum to learn the basics on animal nutrition and the process for manufacturing feed/pet food and getting it to market. Hear from those who know the feed and ingredient industry best — industry experts with decades of experience! The seminar will consist of two parts. Part 1 will include multiple pre-recorded presentations that students can watch at their own pace beginning on June 6 (all participants will receive informational emails with log-in instructions and handout materials.) Part 2 will happen on Monday, Aug. 1, when AFIA will host a live online webcast from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern to recap all the presentations and provide an opportunity for students to participate in a live Q&A session with the overall professor, Dr. Paul Davis. The AFIA staff will be available throughout the entire process to guide students through the online platform, if needed. At the conclusion, all students will “graduate” by receiving a certificate via mail, officially becoming alumni of AFIA’s oldest and well-respected event!
