Even though you may not sell the feed you manufacture, you still need to be up-to-date on the various federal regulations affecting your business in the area of feed manufacturing. As a member of the American Feed Industry Association, we promise to keep you apprised of changes in rules and regulations and engage with you on opportunities to submit your feedback on how future rules would influence your business.
AFIA hosts a number of educational and networking events yearly, from the Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (a great event for your purchasing manager!) to our online courses on feed manufacturing. The association also offers a number of resources for your business, such as the Feed Manufacturing Technology textbook.
AFIA has a member interest group specifically for our integrated members, which provides an opportunity to work with others in this area to address the issues and concerns that are unique to an integrated operation.
