The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is looking for outstanding graduate or post doctorate students in a pet food-related field to present their research papers at the upcoming AFIA Pet Food Conference. The daylong conference will take place on Jan. 28, 2020, in conjunction with the International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta, Ga.

Robert Goodband, Ph.D., of Kansas State University (KSU), received the AFIA-ASAS Non-Ruminant Animal Nutrition Research Award, and Kendall Swanson, Ph.D., of North Dakota State University (NDSU), received the AFIA-ASAS Ruminant Animal Nutrition Research Award.

Ryan Ordway, of Balchem Corporation, presented the award to Lock on behalf of AFIA on June 24 as part of ASDA's annual meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio.
