The American Feed Industry Association is pleased to announce Bridget Rinker has joined as the new development assistant effective April 30.
Rinker will support AFIA President and CEO Joel G. Newman with managing programs and communications, as well as support of the AFIA Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She will also assist the Institute for Feed Education and Research’s executive director in the implementation of the overall strategic direction for the foundation, including managing the entire donor program from overseeing donor gift processing to donor stewardship. Rinker will also work with members of the AFIA events and communications teams to plan, implement and market donor programs.
“Bridget’s experience with sponsor stewardship and database management makes her the perfect fit for this position,” said Newman. “I’m excited to have her join our team and I look forward to seeing the new perspective and expertise she will bring to our association and industry research arm.”
Rinker joined AFIA from the National Parent Teacher Association, where she focused on strategy and stewardship of the association’s national sponsors and worked with grant contracts. She has prior experience with the National 4-H Youth Conference Center and several years in the hotel industry.
